
Kindergarten Staff
Kindergarten Teacher Terri Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University, and both a PreK-Grade 3 Teaching License and an MFA of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Otterbein University. She began at CCCS in 2000 in the kindergarten classroom. She lives in Westerville with her husband and two children. She is from Michigan and loves dogs.
Kindergarten Teacher Mary Townley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading from The Ohio State University. After a brief stint as a substitute teacher, she taught third grade for twelve years in the Dublin City Schools, her alma mater. She then taught a pre-kindergarten class for Central College Preschool for five years before graduating to kindergarten when Central College Christian Academy moved into its current building in 2003. Townley loves God, her wonderful husband, her two talented sons, all of her amazing students, her two dogs, her four llamas, the color teal and pie.
Bethany Storts grew up in Westerville and attended Christian schools K-12. She continued in Christian, higher education and graduated in May 2018 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with her bachelors in Elementary Education. She taught her first 2 years at a charter school in Columbus. While there, she taught 4th/5th Grade Science and Social Studies and Kindergarten. She has found her passion to be working with some of our youngest learners! Fun fact: Bethany is that she attended CCCS from 2000-2002 for Kindergarten and First Grade.
Kindergarten Aid William O'Brien has always enjoyed working with kids through VBS, Children’s Church, and Summer Camps! He grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and relocated to Ohio a few years ago. William resides with his wife, Ashley and their dog, Copper, in Westerville. When he’s not at school, He enjoys spending time with his family and plays the keyboard and sings on his church’s worship team.
